Through PT Hatfield Indonesia, we support the development of Strategic Environment and Social Assessment (SESA) Final Report for Indonesia’s REDD+ Readiness Preparation. The Ministry of Environment and Forestry has secured financing from the Forest Carbon Partnership Facility (FCPF) through the World Bank and intends to apply part of the proceeds for consulting services. The consulting services supports performance-based emission reduction program that includes: i) Strategic Environment Assessment to assess the potential impacts from national REDD+ programs and policies; and  ii) Environmental and Social Management Framework (ESMF) including Land Acquisition and Resettlement Framework, process framework for access restrictions, Indigenous Peoples Planning Framework, and Grievance Redress Mechanism for addressing risks associated with the program.
